Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday flagged off the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Pracheen Marg Pavitra Chhari Yatra and participated in the auspicious rituals associated with the annual pilgrimage.
The Lt Governor also joined the devotees for the Pratham Puja and offered prayers at the revered Kol Kandoli Temple in Nagrota, an official spokesperson said.
“Flagged off Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Pracheen Marg Pavitra Chhari Yatra, today. Also, joined the devotees for the auspicious Pratham Puja & offered prayers at the revered Kol Kandoli Temple, Nagrota,” the Office of the LG said in a post on X.
Wishing the pilgrims a safe and spiritually fulfilling journey, the Lt Governor said, “Jai Mata Di.” (KNS)
