Srinagar:: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday strongly condemned the attack on National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah, expressing relief that he remained safe.
In a post on X, Azad, as per news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS), called for a thorough investigation into the incident and stressed the need to ensure the senior leader’s security.
“Strongly condemn the attack on Dr Farooq Abdullah Sahib. Relieved that he is safe. Police must investigate the incident thoroughly and ensure his security and safety so that such incidents do not happen again. Wishing him good health and safety,” Azad wrote. (KNS).
