KULGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, today chaired a meeting of officers to review the status of public grievances and assess the mechanism for their timely disposal in the district.
During the meeting, the DC conducted a detailed review of grievances received through various platforms and evaluated the progress of their resolution across departments.
Stressing the importance of responsive governance, the DC directed all officers to ensure prompt and effective redressal of grievances within the stipulated time frame.
He emphasised that public grievances must be handled with seriousness and accountability to ensure that citizens’ genuine concerns are addressed without delay.
Shahzad Alam further instructed officers to closely monitor pending cases and ensure necessary follow-up actions are taken to expedite their resolution.
The ADC, ACR, Tehsildars, and other officers attended the meeting.
