Srinagar: Apni Party on Tuesday issued a notice announcing the schedule for the election of party office-bearers across Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a statement, a notice issued by the party’s returning officer, Abdul Majid Padder, reads:
“Voter lists of the Block Level, Zonal Level, and District Level will be completed by 30 April 2026. Whereas, all the district presidents of the respective districts will act as presiding officers for elections up to the Zonal Level.”
The notice further said, “After 30 April, the respective provincial presidents will begin the process of elections to the district level from 1 May to 31 May 2026. Elections at the district level and above will begin from 1 June 2026. A separate schedule will be issued for elections above the district level.”
