Srinagar: The Passing Out Parade of the 105th Batch of Recruit Trainees (General Duty) was held on Tuesday at the Recruit Training Centre (RTC) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Lethpora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A total of 584 recruit trainees successfully completed their 44-week basic training and were inducted as Constable (General Duty) personnel in the elite force.
The parade was reviewed by Gyanendra Pratap Singh, Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force, who was the Reviewing Officer for the ceremony. Senior officers, including Deepak Kumar, Special Director General (IRG), and Rajesh Kumar, Additional Director General (J&K Zone), along with other senior officials and representatives from civil administration and sister security agencies, were present on the occasion.
The parade featured crisp and synchronised drill manoeuvres, drawing appreciation from the dignitaries and spectators. The parade was commanded by Assistant Commandant Shashi Bhushan Singh of the training institution.
During the ceremony, the Director General presented medals and trophies to recruits who demonstrated outstanding performance during the training period.
Addressing the newly inducted personnel, DG CRPF Gyanendra Pratap Singh urged them to uphold the values, traditions and ethos of the CRPF while serving the nation. He stressed the importance of combining professional competence with compassion while performing duties in both peace and operational situations.
He said the impressive parade reflected the dedication and hard work of both the recruits and their instructors, adding that the trainees are now physically prepared as well as ethically and legally equipped to undertake their responsibilities.
The Reviewing Officer also exhorted the recruits to remain true to their oath of allegiance, respect the Constitution of India and serve the nation with commitment and discipline.
