MLA Zadibal reviews utilization of funds under RKS, Kayakalp programs

SRINAGAR: A meeting was convened at JLNM Hospital, Rainawari, Srinagar today by MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq, to review and discuss the proposed agenda for utilization of funds under the RKS and Kayakalp programs for the year 2025–26.

The meeting was attended by the Medical Superintendent, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Chief Medical Officer Srinagar, Deputy Director Information, various Executive Engineers, Tehsildar Khanyar, Ward Officer SMC, Project Officer ICDS, and several Heads of Departments of JLNM Hospital.

During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held regarding the proposed works and procurement of items aimed at improving hospital infrastructure, sanitation facilities, patient amenities, and medical equipment at the hospital. The agenda items were thoroughly deliberated upon and were positively received by the MLA.

On the occasion, Tanvir Sadiq appreciated the initiatives taken by the hospital administration for strengthening healthcare facilities and improving patient services. He assured full support for the proposed works and emphasized the need for timely implementation of the planned initiatives.

The MLA also promised to facilitate the provision of electric wheelchairs and an ambulance for the hospital to further enhance patient care and accessibility.

The meeting concluded with a commitment from all concerned departments to work in coordination for the effective execution of the proposed plans and overall improvement of healthcare services at the hospital.
