Srinagar: A blood donation camp was organized by the 132 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Lal Chowk in Srinagar on Friday in connection with the 87th CRPF Raising Day celebrations.
The camp was held at the F/132 Battalion headquarters in collaboration with Ujala Cygnus Hospital, Srinagar. It was formally inaugurated by Commandant of 132 Battalion, W.R. Josuah.
CRPF officers and personnel, along with civilian volunteers, participated in the camp and donated blood. The event witnessed an enthusiastic response from participants who came forward to contribute to the humanitarian cause.
Officials said the initiative reflects the spirit of dedication and compassion among CRPF personnel, who not only safeguard the nation but also actively participate in social and humanitarian activities.
Donors were provided light refreshments, certificates and medals as a token of appreciation for their contribution.
