Govt orders transfers in administration

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of eight officials, including several Private Secretaries, in a minor bureaucratic reshuffle affecting key departments.

An order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) stated the transfers were effectuated “in the interest of administration.”

According to Government Order No. 284-JK(GAD) of 2026, Anuradha Abrol, a Private Secretary awaiting adjustment, has been posted to the Industries and Commerce Department.

In a three-way exchange, Private Secretary Reyaz Ahmad Bangroo was moved from the Agriculture Production Department to the Finance Department. Concomitantly, Munish Gupta and Vinod Kumar Bhat, both Private Secretaries, have been swapped between the Finance and Agriculture Production departments.

Server Ahmad Jan, formerly in the Finance Department, has been posted to the Health and Medical Education Department as a Private Secretary.

In other changes, Head Assistant Mohammad Altaf Wani and Daftari Irfan-Ullah have been transferred from the Agriculture Production Department to the Finance Department.

Furthermore, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, a Class-IV employee of J&K Cements Limited on deputation, has been recalled from the Agriculture Production Department and re-deputed to the Finance Department.

The order was issued by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, M. Raju (IAS).
