Warm send-off accorded to Section Officer Abdul Rashid Wani at JDI Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Joint Directorate of Information, Kashmir Division, today accorded a warm farewell to Abdul Rashid Wani, Section Officer, on his superannuation, in a simple yet heartfelt function held at its office premises.

The farewell function was attended by Joint Director Information Kashmir, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari; Deputy Director Information, PR, Kashmir, Mohammad Rafiq Zulla; Cultural Officer, Kashmir Burhan Hussain, besides other officers and officials of the department.

Speaking on the occasion, the Joint Director of Information lauded the outgoing officer for his dedication, sincerity and exemplary service rendered to the department over the 37 years of his service. He appreciated his professionalism and valuable contribution in ensuring smooth functioning of the office.

Other officers also shared their experiences and highlighted the retiring officer’s cooperative nature, integrity and commitment towards duty.

In his farewell remarks, Abdul Rashid Wani expressed gratitude to the department and his colleagues for their continuous support and cooperation throughout his service tenure.

The function concluded with the presentation of a memento as a token of appreciation and best wishes for a healthy and fulfilling post-retirement life.
