SHOPIAN: Acting on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Shopian, the Drugs Control Department on Tuesday conducted inspections across several areas of the district to check compliance with the provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and the rules framed under it.
The inspection teams visited Hermain, Landoora, Nagisharan, Kundalan and Pinjoora villages, where procurement and sale records of scheduled drugs were examined. Officials also verified CCTV footage and checked adherence to mandatory computerized billing requirements.
