According to police, on the intervening night of February 12 and 13, at around 3:00 AM, she reportedly left her relatives’ residence in Singhbagh area of Baramulla without informing anyone. Since then, her mobile phone has remained switched off and her whereabouts are unknown.

A missing report has been registered at Police Station Baramulla, following which search operations were launched. Police said they have now activated a Special Tip Line to gather public assistance in tracing the woman.

Anyone who may have seen her or has any information has been requested to contact 95967-67710, which is also available on WhatsApp for sharing messages, photographs or videos.

Police have appealed to citizens to remain vigilant, share only verified information and refrain from spreading rumours on social media, adding that timely assistance from the public can help reunite the missing woman with her family.
