New Delhi: The Delhi Government has ordered the transfer and posting of 72 IAS officers across various departments, including two AGMUT cadre officers who were presently serving in Jammu and Kashmir.

As per the official order, Santosh D. Vaidya, a 1998 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer who was serving as Principal Secretary Finance in Jammu and Kashmir, has been posted to the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi as Principal Secretary Home. He has also been given additional charge of Principal Secretary Finance and Planning, Principal Secretary Industries, and Chairperson of the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation.

In another significant move, Saloni Rai, a 2016 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer who was serving as Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, has been transferred to Delhi and appointed as Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate North, GNCTD.

Both officers were holding active assignments in the Jammu and Kashmir segment prior to their transfer under the AGMUT cadre framework, which governs postings across Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories, including Jammu and Kashmir. (KNT)
