The special drive is being organised under the Passport Seva Project of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, keeping in view the sustained demand for passport-related services. The initiative aims to ensure timely, efficient and transparent delivery of passport services to citizens.

B. S. Rawat, Regional Passport Officer, Srinagar, stated that the special drive reflects the Office’s commitment to enhancing service delivery and reducing waiting time for applicants.

He said that additional operational days are being arranged to accommodate the growing number of passport applications and to provide greater convenience to residents of Anantnag, Baramulla and adjoining districts.

Applicants can avail passport services by booking an appointment through the official website www.passportindia.gov.in at their nearest or preferred Passport Seva Kendra and selecting a suitable time slot for 14th and 21st February 2026.

Applicants are required to report to the designated centre at the scheduled time along with the appointment confirmation and all requisite documents in original.

For further details, applicants may visit the official Passport Seva website or contact the Regional Passport Office Srinagar.
