JAMMU: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti, to be celebrated on Sunday.
In his felicitation message, the Chief Minister said that Guru Ravidas Ji’s teachings of equality, social justice and universal brotherhood continue to inspire generations and remain profoundly relevant in today’s times.
He said that the life and philosophy of Guru Ravidas Ji emphasised compassion, harmony and respect for human dignity, and called upon people to imbibe these values in their daily lives to build a just and inclusive society.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah wished happiness, peace and prosperity to all on the occasion.
