Officials said that after the passage of the system, weather conditions are likely to improve, with partly cloudy skies expected from February 3 to February 6.

In view of the forecast, travellers and transporters have been advised to remain cautious and check road and highway conditions with traffic authorities before planning journeys, particularly on mountain routes and inter-district roads.

People of snow-bound and higher altitude areas have also been cautioned against venturing into slippery and avalanche-prone zones during the period of snowfall, as fresh accumulation could increase risks.

Authorities said advisories should be followed strictly to avoid inconvenience and ensure safety during the changing weather conditions. (KNT)
