In view of the growing influx of devotees and long-standing infrastructural gaps, Aijaz Asad accorded sanction for the construction of one Yatri Shed and three Community Sanitary Complexes (CSCs) at the shrine.

The sanctioned works are aimed at providing adequate shelter, sanitation and improved public convenience, especially during peak pilgrimage periods.

The Secretary emphasized that all works should be executed in a time-bound manner, ensuring quality standards while maintaining the sanctity and heritage value of the religious site.

The Kalidhar Mandir Committee welcomed the initiative of the Rural Development Department and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Aijaz Asad for addressing a long-pending demand of devotees.

The committee noted that the new facilities would significantly enhance comfort and hygiene for pilgrims visiting the shrine.

Kalidhar Mandir is a revered and historically significant temple, with origins tracing back nearly four centuries, and attracts a large number of devotees throughout the year from across the region.

The infrastructure strengthening measures are expected to improve the overall pilgrimage experience while preserving the cultural and religious importance of the shrine.
