Registration for Allied and Healthcare Professionals in J&K to begin soon

JAMMU: The registration of Allied and Healthcare Professionals and Institutions will begin soon in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pertinently, the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, is in the final stage of development and operationalisation of online portals for registration of Allied and Healthcare Professionals and Institutions, as mandated under the NCAHP Act, 2021.

In this regard, all the eligible Allied and Healthcare Professionals in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir have been informed that the registration process shall commence shortly.

The National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) has communicated with all the State and UT Allied and Healthcare Councils regarding operationalization of the NCAHP registration portal.

The State Allied and Healthcare Council, J&K has taken all necessary steps to ensure timely coordination with the Commission for early rollout of the registration process.

Further, the draft regulations governing registration of Allied and Healthcare Professionals, presently available on the official website of the Commission, are under finalization and are expected to be notified shortly.

All the eligible professionals and stakeholders are advised to keep their relevant documents and requisite details ready to facilitate smooth registration once the portal becomes operational. Updates regarding the launch date and registration procedure shall be communicated in due course.

It is also stated that no State Allied and Healthcare Council in India has initiated the registration process so far, as registration is to be carried out uniformly across the country in coordination with the National Commission.
