J&K Police observe two-minute silence in memory of former DGP B.S. Bedi

SRINAGAR: Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, along with all ranks of the J&K Police, on Tuesday observed a two-minute silence to pay homage to former Director General of Police, B.S. Bedi, who passed away on January 25, 2026.

B.S. Bedi, a 1961 batch IPS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, served in Jammu and Kashmir with distinction, particularly during the turbulent period of the early 1990s. He is remembered for his professional integrity, leadership, and contribution to maintaining law and order during challenging times.
