Srinagar Wing of High Court celebrates Republic Day

SRINAGAR: The 77th Republic Day was celebrated in the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Srinagar Wing today, with immense enthusiasm and full patriotic zeal and fervour.

The event commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Justice Sindhu Sharma, Judge, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, who took salute at the March Past followed by playing of the National Anthem and patriotic tunes by the Band.

The event was also graced by the august presence of Justice Rahul Bharti, Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani and Justice Shahzad Azeem, Judges of the High Court.

Among other distinguished attendees were Haq Nawaz Zargar, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar along with the team of judicial officers, Khursheed-ul-Islam, Registrar Judicial Srinagar Wing, Jehangir Ahmad Bakshi, Joint Registrar (Judicial)/ Incharge Protocol, Presidents of Bar Associations, officers of police and civil administration, law officers and all the officers and officials of the Srinagar Wing of the High Court.

The event concluded with distribution of sweets among the police and CRPF officials.
