MLA Handwara conducts extensive tour amid heavy snowfall

Handwara: JKPC President and MLA Handwara, Sajad Gani Lone, today conducted an extensive tour of various areas of the Handwara constituency amid heavy snowfall to assess the ground situation and difficulties faced by residents.

Despite challenging weather conditions, Lone interacted with local residents, reviewed the status of essential services, and took stock of the impact of snowfall on road connectivity, power supply, healthcare access, and daily life. He assured the public of timely relief measures, swift restoration of essential services, and prompt assistance to those affected.

The JKPC President & MLA directed the concerned departments to remain on high alert, expedite snow clearance operations, and ensure uninterrupted supply of essential commodities. He reaffirmed his commitment to stand firmly with the people during adverse conditions and ensure that all genuine grievances are addressed without delay.

Residents appreciated his on-ground presence and proactive approach amid the prevailing harsh weather.
