J&K BJP completes nomination process for election of BJP National President

New Delhi: The National Council members and State Council members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Jammu & Kashmir today actively participated in the democratic process by filling and submitting the nomination forms for the election of the BJP National President at the BJP National Headquarters, New Delhi.

The duly completed nomination forms proposing the name for the new BJP National President from Jammu & Kashmir were submitted to K. Laxman, the National Returning Officer, who also received nomination papers from the BJP’s national leadership. BJP National Spokesperson Dr Sambit Patra was also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the BJP stands apart as a party that practices democracy not only in governance but also within its organisation. He emphasised that the elaborate and time-bound election process for the national president underscores the BJP’s unwavering faith in collective leadership, constitutional procedures, and internal democratic values. This transparent and participatory process strengthens the party, provides a robust platform for the new leadership, and reflects the BJP’s commitment to national and organisational democracy, Sat Sharma said.

Rakesh Mahajan stated that the nomination process from Jammu & Kashmir was conducted smoothly, strictly in accordance with party guidelines, showcasing the discipline and democratic ethos of the BJP.
