Srinagar: A man was killed in a road accident at Gogo Check area on Monday evening, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Qadir Wani, a resident of Nawa Kadal area of Srinagar. Officials said he sustained severe head trauma and multiple injuries in the accident.
The injured man was rushed to the Government Bones and Joints Hospital, Barzulla, where he was brought in an unconscious condition. However, he succumbed to injuries, officials said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident. (KNT)
