Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Pulwama and recovered contraband substances from his possession.
A police spokesperson said that during a check at Newa, 1.120 kgs of poppy straw were recovered from the possession of Hilal Ahmad Wani, son of Abdul Khaliq Wani of Ghat Tokna. He has been arrested, and a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at the Police Station Pulwama for further investigation.
