Srinagar: Police have traced a woman who was missing from November 17, 2025 and reunited her with her family in Kulgam.
On November 26, Police Station Kulgam received a written complaint from Waseem Ahmad Wani stating therein that his spouse, Bisma Jan, is missing from her rented room at Amnoo, Kulgam, from 17th November 2025, a police spokesperson said.
He said a missing report was lodged and an investigation initiated. Subsequently, a massive search was launched by the police, which, with the help of technical and human resources, traced the missing woman in Jalandhar Punjab. After completion of all legal, and medical formalities, the said woman was handed over to her relatives, police spokesperson said.
