Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has summoned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly to convene at the Legislative Assembly Complex in Jammu on February 2, 2026.
According to an official bulletin issued by the J&K Legislative Assembly Secretariat, the Assembly will meet at 10 am, during which the Lieutenant Governor will address the House.
The order has been issued under Section 21(1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019, calling upon all members of the Legislative Assembly of the Union Territory to assemble for the sitting.
The Lieutenant Governor’s address marks the formal convening of the Assembly and sets the stage for legislative proceedings in the Union Territory. (KNS)
