These included the availability and augmentation of drinking water supply, irrigation and flood management works under I&FC, concerns of tribal communities, timber supply-related matters and service-related issues of employees of the Jammu & Kashmir Forest Development Corporation Limited (JK FDCL).

Special emphasis was laid on the resolution of compassionate appointment-related cases and long-pending pensionary matters of JK FDCL employees. These issues were discussed comprehensively in the presence of the Managing Director, JK FDCL, with a view to ensuring timely and fair redressal.

The legislators who met the Minister included Ch. Muhammad Akram, Iftikhar Ahmed, M.Y. Tarigami, Nizam ud Din Bhat, Bharat Bhushan, Mushtaq Guroo, Arjun Raju, Javaid Iqbal, Hasnain Masoodi and Peerzada Feroze Hmad Shah.

They highlighted constituency-specific and sectoral issues requiring administrative attention.

The Minister gave a patient hearing to all the legislators and members of the public delegations, assuring them that all their genuine issues would be examined for resolution in a time-bound and result-oriented manner.

He directed the concerned officers to initiate prompt follow-up action and stressed the need for effective inter-departmental coordination to ensure early resolution of each issue.
