Power shutdown in parts of Srinagar on Dec 31

Srinagar: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in several areas of Srinagar on December 31 due to maintenance work on key transmission lines.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown of the 33 KV Bemina–Fateh Kadal line and the 33 KV Bemina–Barbarshah line will be observed from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. As a result, electricity supply to K.K. Mohalla, Nowpora, Bohri Kadal, Barbarshah, Bishembarnagar, Naisarak, Exchange, Basant Bagh, Car Parking Maisuma and adjoining areas will remain affected during the scheduled period.
