Sat Sharma meets BJP National President JP Nadda

Discusses J&K’s socio-political scenario and development roadmap

New Delhi: Jammu & Kashmir BJP President and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament, Sat Sharma, today met BJP National President and Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, and Chemicals & Fertilizers, Jagat Prakash Nadda, at New Delhi and held comprehensive discussions on the prevailing socio-political situation in Jammu & Kashmir.

During the meeting, Sat Sharma apprised the BJP National President about key developments and challenges concerning both the Jammu and Kashmir regions, with a focused discussion on accelerating development, enhancing public welfare delivery, and further strengthening grassroots governance. He highlighted the ongoing expansion of infrastructure, improved road and rail connectivity, advancements in healthcare and education sectors, and the effective implementation of welfare schemes that are significantly improving the quality of life of the people across the Union Territory.

Sat Sharma also sought continued central support for further infrastructure augmentation, promotion of tourism, industrial investment, and expansion of social welfare initiatives to generate employment opportunities and ensure balanced and equitable development in all regions of Jammu & Kashmir.

On the organizational front, Sat Sharma briefed Jagat Prakash Nadda in detail about the party’s ongoing programmes aimed at deepening engagement with people across all sections of society and regions of the Union Territory. He outlined efforts to strengthen booth-level structures, expand cadre outreach, and enhance coordination among party functionaries, reaffirming the J&K BJP’s commitment to further consolidating the organization.

He also informed the National President about the security scenario and the growing public confidence in transparent, accountable, and corruption-free governance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has ushered in an era of peace, stability, and inclusive growth in Jammu & Kashmir.

Jagat Prakash Nadda appreciated the initiatives taken by the J&K BJP unit and reiterated the party’s unwavering resolve to ensure holistic development, social justice, organisational strength, and lasting peace in Jammu & Kashmir.
