Addressing players and spectators, the MLA underlined the importance of sports in positively channelising the energy of youth. He said sporting activities promote discipline, teamwork and physical fitness, while also helping young people stay away from social evils. Shah assured continued support for sports promotion and youth-centric initiatives across the Gulmarg constituency.

Later, the MLA inspected the ongoing developmental works at Kunzer Playground, including the construction of washrooms and changing rooms. He stressed the need for timely completion of the works while maintaining high quality standards, and directed the concerned officials to ensure that the facilities are made fully functional at the earliest for the benefit of players and local youth.

Subsequently, a workers’ meeting was held at Reram to strengthen the party at the Halqa level. During the meeting, several individuals from other political parties joined, expressing faith in the leadership and developmental vision of Farooq Ahmad Shah. The MLA welcomed the new entrants and urged party workers to stay connected with the grassroots, work with dedication, and address public issues with sincerity and commitment.
