Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Pulwama and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
During naka checking at New Circular Road near Barpora Crossing, police intercepted and later arrested Mohammad Yaseen, son of Mohammad Ramzan Bhat of Kareemabad, Pulwama, after 6 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered from his possession. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Pulwama for investigation, a police spokesperson informed.
