SRINAGAR: Director Agriculture Kashmir, Sartaj Ahmad Shah, on Tuesday reviewed the expenditure and implementation status of key agriculture schemes, including the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), Capex and Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS), in Srinagar district.
During a review meeting held at the Agriculture Complex, Lalmandi, the Director sought detailed updates on financial and physical progress, applications received, sanctioned and implemented under various schemes.
He reviewed achievements recorded so far, progress under the Daksh Kisan programme, establishment of units on the ground and the pace of credit linkage. Officers were directed to expedite spending, avoid procedural delays and ensure timely utilisation of funds to meet set targets.
The Director emphasized strengthening coordination among the Agriculture Department, farmers and financial institutions to ensure schemes deliver tangible benefits on the ground.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Agriculture Officer, District Agriculture Officer, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officers and other departmental officials.
