Cybercrime training prog concludes at DPO Srinagar

Srinagar: A comprehensive training programme on cybercrime for police officers and officials posted in the newly established Cyber Police Stations across the Kashmir Zone concluded at the District Police Office Srinagar.

Held on the directions of the Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, the programme commenced on December 1 and focused on equipping officers with practical knowledge of the techniques and procedures used in detecting and investigating cyber fraud and other digital offences.

The training was conducted by a team of experts from Cyber Police Station Srinagar under the supervision of the Senior Prosecuting Officer, Zonal Police Headquarters Kashmir. Sessions covered emerging cyber crime trends, investigation tools, and legal aspects relevant to cyber offences.

On the concluding day, SP Headquarters Srinagar, along with other senior officers, interacted with the participants and highlighted the increasing complexity of cyber crimes and the importance of specialized skills to effectively address them.

The programme was coordinated by the Senior Prosecuting Officer, ZPHQ Kashmir.
