Srinagar: Police in Pulwama arrested a drug peddler and recovered a contraband substance from his possession.
A police spokesperson said that Aijaz Ahmad Mochi, son of Abdul Rashid Mochi, resident of Khalsa Parigam, was arrested at a checkpoint in the same area after 94 grams of cannabis powder-like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at the Police Station, Pulwama, for investigation.
