Srinagar: Police in Anantnag have apprehended an absconder who had been evading arrest for an extended period.
Police said the accused Rattan Chand, son of Vikru Chand, resident of Gurah Kalyal, Billawar, was wanted in connection with FIR No. 45/2013, registered under sections 366, 376, and 343 RPC in year 2013 at Police Station Achabal. After meticulous tracking, Chand was arrested from Mahanpur, Basohli in Kathua, police said.
