KPDCL announces power shutdowns in several areas on Dec 4 & 7

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled shutdowns of multiple 33 kV power lines across parts of Srinagar and south Kashmir on December 4 and 7, 2025, to facilitate essential maintenance work.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, shutdown of 33 kV Lassipora-Landoora line will be observed due to which power supply to Landoora, Watchi, Babapora, Momen, Hermain, Hajipora, Chakoora, Frisal and adjoining areas will be affected from 10.30 PM to 03.30 PM on 04 & 07 December 2025

Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Bemina-Fatehkadal line will be observed due to which power supply to Bishembar Nagar, Babademb, Gousia Hospital, Bohri Kadal, Nowpora, KK Mohalla, Barbarshah and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.00 AM to 03.30 PM on 04 & 07 December, 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 kV Lassipora-Pulwama line will be observed due to which power supply to Pulwama Town-A,B,C,D, Babhar, Muchpuna, Tahab, DC office, Essential, Pinglena, Gundipora, Gangoo, Tenghar, Koil, Tengpuna and adjoining areas will be affected from 10.00 AM to 03.30 PM on 07 December 2025.
