Director Sheep Husbandry reviews expenditure under various departmental schemes

SRINAGAR: Director Sheep Husbandry Department Kashmir, Dr Rafiq Ahmad Shah, today convened a meeting of all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) to review the status of expenditure incurred under various departmental schemes.

The meeting focused on assessing the financial progress of each scheme and evaluating the utilisation of funds released to different units of the department. Dr Shah took a detailed review of the expenditure made so far and highlighted the importance of proper financial planning for ethe ffective implementation of departmental programs.

He emphasised that all funds released must be utilised within 15 days positively, stressing that timely expenditure is essential for achieving developmental targets and ensuring the smooth execution of ongoing initiatives.

The Director directed all DDOs to accelerate any pending processes, adhere strictly to financial guidelines, and ensure prompt submission of expenditure statements. He further underscored the need for transparency, accountability, and close monitoring of all departmental activities.

He stressed for enhanced coordination and dedication from all officers to strengthen the sheep husbandry sector in Kashmir.
