Srinagar: Police in Pulwama have arrested a drug peddler and recovered 64 grams of cannabis-like substance from him at Rajpora Crossing on the New Circular Road.
A police party intercepted a vehicle (JK13A-8847) driven by Shabir Ahmad Teli, son of Ghulam Hassan Teli of Drabgam. During the search, four sticks of cannabis-like substance were recovered from his possession. The vehicle was also seized and Teli arrested while a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Pulwama for investigation, a police spokesperson said.
