Srinagar: Police in Shopian have apprehended six absconders who had been evading arrest since 2009.
Police identified the arrested absconders as Abdul Quyoom Naik, Ghulam Qadir Naik, Mohammad Lateef Naik, Ghulam Ahmad Naik, Bashir Ahmad Naik and Mohammad Farooq Naik, residents of Bahrote and Poshana in Rajouri.
Police said they were involved in a case registered under section 147, 454, 380, 427 RPC of Police Station Shopian in 20029.
