Several delegations call on LG Manoj Sinha in Jammu

JAMMU: A series of delegations and prominent personalities called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday to discuss issues concerning their respective sectors and communities.

Former Minister and Working President of the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, Raman Bhalla, met the Lt Governor and held discussions on matters of public interest.

Earlier, a delegation of the All J&K Christian Sabha led by its President, Ashu Peter Mattoo, called on the Lt Governor and apprised him of issues faced by the community.

The Lieutenant Governor also interacted with Ms Diksha Kaluria and Ms Riya Kaluria, Trustees of the General Zorawar Singh Memorial Education and Charitable Trust. In separate meetings, a delegation of the Nirbhay Bharat Foundation, headed by Chairman Tarun Uppal, and Prof. B.L. Zutshi, President of the Hindu Education Society, also called on the Lt Governor to discuss initiatives in their respective fields.

In another engagement, Mithun Manhas, President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), met the Lt Governor and briefed him on matters related to sports development in the Union Territory.
