SRINAGAR: Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Naseer Ahmed Wani, today chaired a virtual meeting with Joint Directors (JDs), Chief Education Officers (CEOs), and Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) of the Kashmir Division to review progress and further accelerate the Grand Enrolment Campaign 2025–26.

The Director called for mission-mode implementation, strict monitoring, and intensified community outreach to ensure 100% enrolment across all districts.

He directed all districts to immediately conduct cascading meetings to strengthen field coordination and streamline ground-level execution.

Emphasising the need for expanded reach, the Director instructed officers to intensify door-to-door enrolment drives, particularly in grey and hard-to-reach pockets. He also urged the involvement of peer groups, religious leaders, and community influencers to mobilise local support and widen the campaign’s impact.

Heads of Institutions (HOIs) were directed to prioritise enrolment in Pre-Primary, Balvatika, and Foundational Grades, and to ensure the timely identification of Out-of-School Children and the provision of support for Children with Special Needs (CwSN).

To ensure transparency and accountability, the Director instructed all heads to maintain 100% daily online reporting, while CEOs were tasked with verifying district-wise data, enhancing field monitoring, and conducting surprise inspections.

Stressing on comprehensive mobilisation, the Director called for organising enrolment camps, community outreach programmes, and extensive media coverage to ensure that no child in the division remains out of school, in line with the mission “Har Ghar, Har Bachha.”
