Sopore: A man from Mawer area of Handwara lost his life while another was critically injured in a road accident at Patukha locality of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday evening.
News agency KNT reported that a vehicle met with an accident on Patukha road, resulting in critical injuries to two persons. Both were immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital Sopore, where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Shakir Ramzan, while the injured has been identified as Imran Nazir, both residents of Kultari, Mawer, Handwara.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and registered a case for further investigation.
