Srinagar: Police in Ganderbal have arrested an absconder who had been evading arrest for 19 years.
The arrested individual — Mohammad Iqbal Zargar, son of Ghulam Mohammad Zargar, resident of Gulab Bagh Zakura, Srinagar – was wanted in a case registered in 2006 under Section 420 RPC, in Police Station Kangan.
Acting on specific information, a police team apprehended Zargar from Srinagar, police said.
