Srinagar: An elderly man died after being hit by a tipper truck in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday, officials said.
Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that Abdul Rahim Khanday (85), son of Mohammad Ismail Khanday of Zadoora, Pulwama, was hit by a tipper truck while he was crossing the road near Newa, Pulwama, resulting in serious injuries to him.
He was initially shifted to the Bones and Joints Hospital and later referred to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, where he succumbed to injuries.
