Referring to the progress witnessed by Nagrota in recent years, Rana said the constituency has benefitted from several ongoing initiatives, adding that there is always more to be done. She stressed that the focus should remain on consistency in development, touching all stakeholders.

Devyani Rana expressed her gratitude to the people of Nagrota for the trust and support shown to her late father, Shri Devender Singh Rana, during his tenure as their representative, recalling his commitment to the cause of inclusive and sustained development. She said that her efforts would be guided by the same commitment.

Reiterating the BJP’s ethos of governance marked by “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”, Rana said the party’s policies under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have laid strong foundations for development across India, including Jammu and Kashmir. She said that the last five years have seen transformative changes in the region, focused on people’s welfare and grassroots empowerment.

“Nagrota’s true strength lies in its people, their unity, resilience, and optimism. My effort is to engage with all sections of society and work together constructively,” she said.

“This is a continuous journey,” Devyani Rana said, adding. “I am here to listen, to understand, and to work together with the people of Nagrota and serve as a link between the people and the process of development.”
