KPDCL announces scheduled power shutdowns across several areas

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across multiple districts in South and Central Kashmir during the first week of November 2025.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution. KPDCL, shutdown of 132/33 KV Grid Station Kulgam will be observed due to which Kulgam, Ashmuji, Kilam, Devsar, Chambgund, Yaripora, Behibagh, Nillow, Rambhama, Chawalgam, D.H. Pora, and Nagam receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Chambgund, Ahmadabad, Khul, Aharbal, Yaripora, Behibagh, Nillow, Rambhama, D.H. Pora, Nagam, Redwani, Kulgam, Sangus, Mohammadpora, D.K. Marg, Devsar, Pahloo, Gasran, Ashmuji, Chawalgam, Kilam, Devsar and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.00 AM to 04:00 PM on 1st & 3rd November, 2025.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Nowbugh-Nagam line and 33 KV Nowbugh-Chadoora line will be observed due to which Char-I, Char-II, Hafroo, Nagam, Chadoora, Panzan, Ranger & Wathora receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Kakawaring, Yousmarg, Char-i-Sharief, Tilsera, Badipora, Nagam, Hayatpora, Hafroo, Bizgo, Loolipora Sogam, Repora, Dawlatpora, Panzan, Lalgam, Chadoora Town, Chadoora Hospital, Wahtoora, Bugam and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.30 AM to 03.00 PM on 6 November, 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Lassipora-Reshipora line,  33 KV Lassipora-Landoora line, 33 KV Lassipora-Pulwama line, 33 KV Lassipora-Keegam line, 33 KV Buildtech/ SIDCO-II line and 33 KV Lassipora-SIDCO IGC line will be observed due to which Reshipora, Landoora, Moman (Pertains to STD-Bijbehara), Pulwama, Tenghar, Pinglena, Keegam, Gulshanabad, Chararipora, Mitrigam, Buildtech IGC-I, IGC-II, & IGC-III receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Zainapora, Chitragam, Sugan, Turkewangam, Watchi, Babpora, Momen, Hermain, Hajipora, Chakpora, Pulwama Town, Tenghar, Tahab, Machpuna, Babhara, Pinglena, Wagum,  Pakherpora, Hawal, Rajpora, Rahmoo, Keegam, Gulshanabad, Akhal, Chararipora, Buildtech and IGC Lassipora from 12.00 Noon to 06.00 PM  on 9 November, 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Pampore-Wagoora line will be observed due to which  Pahroo, Kadlabal, HPCL Gas Plant, and Auxiliary line Wagoora Grid shall remain off while power supply to Kadlibal, GT Pampore, Pharoo and adjoining areas will be affected from 12.00 Noon to 02.30 PM on 4 November, 2025.
