Srinagar: Police have arrested three absconders in Kulgam and Sopore, a police spokesperson informed on Monday.
Wanted in the case of the year 2004 under sections 15/18 of the NDPS Act of Police Station Qazigund, one Mohammad Aslam Hajam, son of Siraj-ud-Din Hajam of Dalwas Nashri, Batote, has been arrested, police said.
In Sopore, two absconders — Mohammad Yousuf Sheikh, son of Noor Mohammad Sheikh of Khawajabagh Baramulla, was in a case since 2018; and Nissar Ahmad Mir, son of Mohammad Afzal Mir of Khahmoh Rafiabad, absconding since 2015 – have been arrested, police said.
