Director Horticulture distributes Registration Certificates to private nursery growers

SRINAGAR: Director Horticulture, Kashmir, Vikas Anand today distributed Nursery Registration Certificates to 205 Private Nursery Growers who are newly registered with the Department.

During his address at the event, he underscored the significance of providing high-quality planting material to support horticultural growth and encouraged nursery growers to uphold quality standards in their production. This development is expected to foster the production of a substantial quantity of quality planting material, thereby benefiting the horticultural sector in the region.

Furthermore, he emphasized that the early registration would enable private nursery growers to provide planting material to other departments that require the mandatory registration certificate issued by the Horticulture Department.

The event was attended by Jothe int Director of Horticulture, Kashmir, the Deputy Director of Horticulture, Kashmir, the Chief Canning Instructor Srinagar, Chief Horticulture Officer Srinagar, Nursery Registration Officer Srinagar, and various other officers and officials from the Department of Horticulture.

This initiative underlines the commitment of the Department of Horticulture, Kashmir, to promote quality planting material production and empower aspiring entrepreneurs in the region.
