Srinagar: A 45-year-old man’s body was retrieved on Sunday from the River Jhelum, officials said.
Officials told GNS that a man who allegedly had jumped into river Jehlum at Zaina Kadal on 20th October was retrieved today by a joint team or SDRF QRT Jehlum, River police and local police.
The deceased has been identified as Mohd Rafeeq Ahangar (45) son of Mohd Jamal Ahangar resident of Dalal Mohalla Zaina Kadal Srinagar.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (GNS)
