Srinagar: Ahead of the Autumn session of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, several legislators on Thursday held a peaceful protest, demanding the release of incarcerated Doda MLA, Mehraj Malik.
Several MLAs of the National Conference, Congress and others, carrying placards today morning, held a protest outside the Assembly hall seeking the release of Mehraj Malik.
Mehraj Malik, who was booked under the Public Safety Act, is lodged in Kathua Central Jail.
