Srinagar, Oct 17: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A police spokesperson said that at a checkpoint established at Manglora Crossing, police arrested one Irfan Rashid Zargar, son of Abdul Rashid of Chewa Budgam, after 26.5 grams of cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case has been registered under sections 8/20 NDPS Act at Police Station Kunzer for investigation.
